Amazon Search for WordPress
Written by Andy on August 23rd, 2008I’ve written a plugin for WordPress to add a search widget and allow posters to easily link to Amazon products using their associate ids.
It provides search any of the amazon servers [see - that's it on the right!] and produces search results with direct links to products. It also allows you to use text links directly to items in your posts using a special tag of the form:
[amazon ASIN=1904811892]Fancy Book Title[/amazon ]
This is converted to a link like this.
Not only that, but if you have the ip2nation database installed, the plugin will use it for geolocation and select the best Amazon store for the site’s visitor based on their country.

I haven’t decided what I’m doing with this site yet – that’s why it’s still on free hosting and I haven’t done much with it.

Oh, and cant remeber if the the RSS button was there before, but dont work anyway… Btw, if you want a ‘decent’ hosting, I can offer you an space on mine, got it for work reasons and its rather… empty.
